CONFERENCE THEMES

Scientific and review works in the field of architecture and urban planning, civil engineering and environmental engineering concerning:

• designing of buildings, including reconstruction and refurbishment of historic buildings, durability and protection of buildings and structures, environmental aspects of sustainable construction;
• construction materials engineering, waste management in construction, unconventional energy sources, energy consumption in construction;
• innovative technologies of construction and operation of building objects in industrial construction, hydrotechnical, municipal and transport infrastructure;
• architecture, urban planning and spatial planning in the context of the idea of sustainable development;
• BIM in construction, legal and organizational issues of preparation and implementation of construction projects with observance of environmental protection principles.
  
  

The organizers invite researchers, designers, contractors, architectural and construction administration and construction supervision employees as well as companies promoting modern technologies and products in the field of construction to participate in the Conference. Persons or companies interested in presenting their own offer or placing an advertisement during the Conference or in a monograph are invited to directly contact the Organizing Committee.

Other forms of participation:

• presentations and posters as part of the Conference,
• presentations of companies offering products for construction industry,
• advertising stands for companies.

DIRECTIONS FOR CONTRIBUTORS TO CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

• Abstract in English (font 12, line spacing 1,5) – max. 2 pages
• Text of the full article in English (font 12, line spacing 1,5) - min 12, max 16 pages, A4 format.
• Detailed guidelines shall be provided at: https://ecce2020.po.edu.pl

The cost of participation in the Conference includes the publication of one article.

After a positive review, selected articles will be published as chapters in reviewed thematic monographs in the discipline of civil engineering and transport (Publisher - Opole University of Technology). According to the Communication of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 18.10.2019, such monographs receive 80 points. Considering the above and the principles set out in the Regulation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 22.02.2019 on the evaluation of the quality of scientific activities, the total number of points for the chapter in the monograph is 20 points. The monograph will be published in English, no later than on the day of the beginning of the Conference.

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fee is 300 Euro.

The conference fee includes: one publication in a scientific and technical journal, conference materials, one night in a double room with breakfast, dinners, suppers and refreshments during breaks.

The organizers do not cover the costs of commuting.

• Additional charge for a single room is 40 Euro per one night.
• The conference fee without accommodation is 250 Euro.
• People who plan to use an additional accommodation in a double room 19/20 04.2020, incur an additional fee of 45 Euro.
• In case of resignation from participation in the Conference within two weeks prior to its commencement, the cost of participation can be returned up to 50% of the deposit lodged. In case of resignation from participation within less than two weeks - participation costs will not be refunded.
  
  

In the case of submitting two papers, you have to pay additional fee for the second paper, which is 125 Euro.
